7 Ups & 4 Downs From Impact Wrestling (Oct 13)

3. Seriously Ken, Again?

It's now been confirmed that Ken Shamrock will face Eddie Edwards at Bound For Glory. Thus, 'The World's Most Dangerous Man' laid out another backstage assault on the former two-time World Champion, all while Sami Callihan filmed it.

There was no need for this. This entire story so far has been Shamrock attacks Eddie time after time. He was the one who left Eddie beaten down as he was leaving the venue, and he did so again in the ring after Eddie accused 'The Draw' of conducting the attack.

The point is that Eddie hasn't been able to get in any offence so far. It doesn't make for an interesting story arc if everything is one-sided. While you could make the argument that this is only because of the numbers advantage, that doesn't apply here - Sami, so far, hasn't actually gotten involved in the attacks. He's merely been pulling at Ken's strings. You'd expect a rivalry between these two to be far more appealing than it has proven to be.
