7 Ups & 4 Downs From NXT Halloween Havoc Part Two (Results & Review)

3. Who Agents The Agents?

Talk about déjà vu.

The Creed Brothers and Angel Garza and Humberto Carrillo had a personal grudge, so their “Tables, Ladders and Scares” match started on the floor, with the Creeds meeting them on the ramp. That made sense. The next match saw Tiffany Stratton jump Fallon Henley in the entranceway, rendering the match moot. OK.

But a few matches later, Thea Hail and Jacy Jayne jumped Chelsea Green and Piper Niven to kick off their women’s tag title match.

That’s three scheduled matches in the span of 90 minutes that started almost the same exact way. When the third happened, it felt like the agents didn’t talk to each other, or they were copying each other’s homework. It felt lazy and repetitive, and that shouldn’t be the first vibe you get from a match, simply because you’ve seen the same start twice earlier in the night.
