7 Ups & 4 Downs From NXT Halloween Havoc Part Two (Results & Review)

DOWNS…

4. King Creeper

Lexis King
WWE

Maybe his gimmick is supposed to give off “80s high school jock reject” vibes, but Lexis King was not exactly setting the world on fire during a brief backstage interview.

King gloated about always being pleased with himself and how his name (the new one he chose because he doesn’t want to be known as Brian Pillman Jr.) generated a lot of buzz. He tried suggesting he had done something that would get a lot of attention soon, but didn’t elaborate, then awkwardly hit on Mackenzie Mitchell and failed miserably.

The premise of the name change is at least better than previous moniker switches, but this character feels like a slate of attributes rather than an actual, fully formed character. Maybe that will change over time, but Tuesday just felt awkward.
