7 Ups & 4 Downs From WWE NXT 2.0: Halloween Havoc 2021

1. Too Much Goofy Sh*t

Jeeeeesus, that skit with Grayson Waller and LA Knight was painful. Not even a run-in and beatdown from Solo Sikoa could save the day. That's how bad it was - a debuting star couldn't stop Waller and Knight from (blood) sucking the life out of Havoc with their cheesy banter.

Cheese was a problem generally.

WWE's party sketches are too played out to mean much now. Waller was a consistently-irritating presence, but he wasn't alone in stinking up the place. When even Cameron Grimes comes across as an unentertaining hack, you know you've got problems! The scripting for those skits was awful.

Haunted house frivolities involving Carmelo Hayes, Trick Williams, Dexter Lumis and Johnny Gargano were slightly more endearing, but still not great. WWE's obsession with zombies sucks, and these cinematic goofball inserts didn't even go anywhere.
