7 Ups & 4 Downs From WWE Raw (23 Sept - Results & Review)

3. Behemoth Battle Continues

After last week’s decimation of the ring and backstage area, expectations had to be high for this week’s installment of Bronson Reed versus Braun Strowman.

Fans didn’t have to wait long to see what would happen, as the two plowed through a merchandise table backstage as Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan arrived at the beginning of Raw. The duo weren’t seen again until Reed’s scheduled match against the Miz, when Strowman jumped off the barricade to club Bronson, a nice callback to Reed’s attack a few weeks ago.

The two continued to fight at ringside while security piled into the ring to try to separate these monsters, and they proceeded to toss them around, with the announcers aptly describing it as “ants trying to attack elephants.” There was no mass destruction, but the sheer amount of humanity being used as a blockade – and essentially tackling dummies – between the two still provided a good amount of chaos, with bodies flying everywhere.

To cap things off, fans learned that next week, the two will try it again in a Last Monster Standing match, which is an appropriate stipulation given how their brawls have progressed around arenas, in the backstage area, and even into the parking lot. If done well, this could be an epic car crash.
