6. Battle Of The Beef Planets

The collision between Bronson Reed and Ivar has been brewing for some time now, and it had the potential to be a fun, hard-hitting spectacle that drew a lot of “oohs” and “aahs” from fans.

Thankfully, that’s exactly what fans got Monday night, as they chanted “meat!” as the two behemoths battled, trading high-impact slams, kicks and strikes, but also showing off their nimbleness. Unfortunately, there was only one finish for this match: a double count-out.

But that was because the two were going to continue brawling into the crowd, with Reed throwing a security guard at Ivar, and the Viking diving off an electrical case to hit a cannonball on Bronson and security.

Why would a double count-out get positive marks? Because the brawl outside pretty clearly sets up the best match WWE has to offer with these two super-heavyweights: a Viking Rules match. Previous iterations have been tremendously fun, chaotic matches, and it could be an interesting experiment to see Ivar and Bronson do battle via Viking Rules.

If they’re headed in this direction, then this was a perfect setup. If not, both men better up their game for any other potential rematch.
