1. Priest, Ripley Stand Tall

The reborn Judgment Day seems to exist for one simple goal: to give Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest human pinballs to bounce off of them.

Priest attacked JD McDonagh mercilessly, repeatedly pounding him with strikes and kicking him down several times. But JD came back with some help from Carlito to stay in the match, which really just prolonged the beatdown from Damian.

Ultimately, Finn Balor and the rest of the Judgment Day ran in for the DQ, triggering a four-on-one mugging. However, Rhea Ripley ran down for the save, getting her hands on Liv Morgan before Dominik Mysterio saved her and they fled. This left McDonagh to eat a Ripley headbutt and South of Heaven chokeslam.

Priest and Ripley really had become the standout stars of the group, the de facto leaders in a leaderless faction, and both got drummed out of the stable at SummerSlam. They looked quite impressive teaming up to repel a Judgment Day attack, and it would be great to see them continue to stand together against their former stablemates, two solo warriors joining forces for a common goal.

It also can’t be accidental that the remainder of the Judgment Day are all a head shorter than Priest and Ripley, making them look like giants being swarmed by pests.
