2. Who Does This Help?

WWE Raw Shayna Baszler Lyra Valkyria

Fans learned Monday night that the new heel female faction put three other women on the shelf… and then the one woman with the most credibility nearly lost a singles match in three minutes.

Lyra Valkyria and Shayna Baszler battled as a follow-up to the scrap between them and their partners last week. The announcers revealed that Kayden Carter, Katana Chance, and Zelina Vega all were sidelined due to attacks from Baszler, Zoey Stark, and Sonya Deville, leaving Lyra alone.

Still, Valkyria persevered and managed to quickly catch Shayna – the only former singles champ in the new heel group – with a Nightwing and was seconds away from a pinfall victory when Zoey and Sonya ran in for the disqualification, which led to Damage CTRL rushing down for the save.

So, is the moral here that Lyra is such a strong babyface that she can almost overcome all three heels, or that the villains are only strong as a unit swarming their opponents and can’t last three minutes in a fair fight?
