7 Ups & 4 Downs From WWE SmackDown (Jan 17)

4. Team Hell Yes

Kane got a nice response from the live crowd because he was first through the curtain when SmackDown started. Kicking off with Kane's promo (during which he put over the importance of the Royal Rumble), and having Bray Wyatt interfere as himself then stalk him as the 'Fiend' was fun booking.

Things got even better when Daniel Bryan came out to stop one masked demon from mauling another, and everyone got to see an unlikely Team Hell No reunion in 2020. WWE's logic was solid in this segment; Kane has history with both men in the Universal Title feud, and so he was a great choice to act as a third wheel cameo.

Team Hell YES.

Wyatt's past transgressions have been a linchpin of his current guise too, which is why he looked back through history at his own rivalry with Kane. Bray was playing mind games with Daniel Bryan by messing with someone he cares about (like he did with Miz's family), and that's rather clever.
