4. SmackDown’s Next Budding Romance

Nia Jax Reginald
WWE

There was nothing wrong with performances from Nia jax, Shayna Baszler or Reginald during those shopping trip segments, but is this budding romance really necessary? Don't forget, this would be the third such love interest storyline SmackDown has gone with in the past 12 months.

Otis and Mandy Rose were a focal point, and Murphy flirted with Aalyah Mysterio. Now, Nia and Reggie have the hots for one another, and it's blatantly obvious that Jax is gonna' come out of this one hurting; Reg is only playing her to get back at Sasha Banks, and...yeah, her feud with Bianca Belair doesn't need this crap.

It's going nowhere fast.

If this doesn't end with Baszler locking Reginald in a submission and sending him packing, then WWE aren't paying attention. Sadly, things just got worse for this angle the longer this week's SmackDown rolled on.
