7 Ups & 5 Downs For AEW Collision (26 August)

5. Lack Of Rules, But...

AEW Collision Action Andretti Alex Reynolds John Silver
AEW

The rules may have been made a mockery of, but there's no denying the in-ring work of Alex Reynolds, John Silver, Action Andretti and Darius Martin impressed on AEW Collision.

Here, the action was extremely fluid, was worked at a fast paced, and did not overstay its welcome by the time Reynolds got the jacknife pin on Martin for the 1-2-3. The biggest takeaway here, though, was how much bigger a deal this Dark Order duo feel when presented in a serious light.

There was no hamming it up here, no laugh and joking; this was Reynolds and Silver working as a no-nonsense serious tag team, and they were much the better for it.

Now, if only this sort of action took place in a setting where the referee isn't made to look like a total idiot.
