7 Ups & 5 Downs For AEW Collision (26 August)

6. "'Cos You're My Sweetheart"

Eddie Kingston is the most believable man in professional wrestling. What the Mad King does and says, you believe every single second of.

While Collision's six-man tag may have been way too haphazard for your writer's particular tastes, Eddie's post-match actions were magnificent.

The initial post-match fallout had Chuck Taylor and Trent Beretta say a few words ahead of All In's Stadium Stampede, and Orange Cassidy was about to follow suit before the Blackpool Combat Club and Pride N Powerful appeared on the video screen.

With that, Kingston immediately exited the ring, pulled down his straps, and headed to the back to confront his All In opponents. It was brilliant, it was pitch-perfect, and it was obviously so, so Eddie Kingston.

Of course, by the time Eddie got backstage, the BCC and PNP had disappeared, and it's here where Kingston cut another fantastic promo. According to Eddie, at Wembley Stadium, Santana and Ortiz are going to get gutted up and die in the middle of the ring, Wheeler Yuta is going to get buried, and Claudio Castagnoli is being left for last "'cos you're my sweetheart" and is going to be burned and scarred. As for Jon Moxley, Eddie implored his on-off friend to stay out of his way.

Once again, Eddie Kingston delivers pro wrestling gold.
