7 Ups & 5 Downs From AEW Dark (Jul 28)

2. Orange Cassidy vs. Serpentico

Serpentico Orange Cassidy
AEW

A weird little match, this one, as it began with Serpentico tripping over while charging Orange Cassidy, seemingly for no reason whatsoever. The clash then played out as a miniaturised version of Cassidy's usual layout: 'Freshly Squeezed' worked his shtick before levelling up, getting serious, and scoring the W via cradle.

This was paint-by-numbers for Cassidy. It brought nothing to the table that fans haven't already seen a dozen times before and while it didn't overstay its welcome, it accomplished little more than to give Cassidy another number in his win column. Skip.
