7 Ups & 5 Downs From AEW Dark (Jul 28)

Ups...

7. Sammy Guevara vs. Fuego Del Sol

Sammy Guevara
AEW

That this was the first time we've seen Sammy Guevara compete in over a month made this clash feel fresher than it otherwise would have, though 'The Spanish God' was in good form nonetheless.

Guevara was an obnoxious prick. Constantly talking trash and pulling cocky facials throughout, he treated Fuego Del Sol like a speck of dirt on his boot. A few casual moments almost came back to bite him, as Fuego scored a couple of pin attempts, but Guevara overcame a late-match flurry to spring to life himself, nailing the GTH for the 1-2-3.

It's good to have him back.
