7 Ups & 5 Downs From WWE Elimination Chamber 2022

3. Drew Isn’t Moving On

Gee, wish Drew McIntyre would move on from this.

He's destined for an unwanted match vs. Happy Corbin at 'Mania, and nobody wants to see it. Sadly, WWE believe this is the best use of someone who has been working WWE Title crackers during the previous two springtime supershows. It really, really isn't.

Drew's 'Falls Count Anywhere' brawl with Madcap Moss was functional in Saudi, but there was never any threat of McIntyre losing. That hurt the gimmick slightly, but then this whole feud had been damaged goods for months now. Attention, WWE: Drew deserves better. Much better.

The reaction he got from fans in Jeddah, as well as the 'Mania-esque pyro display WWE put on for him after winning, shows that he's still a major star on this roster. Christ, it's going to be some popcorn fart when he lines up opposite Corbin in Dallas.
