7 Ups & 5 Downs From WWE Raw (24 June - Results & Review)
1. Way To Sell A Massacre
Last week, Raw closed out with numerous staff and wrestlers laid out backstage, bloodied up and left strewn about a destroyed gorilla position.
The response from WWE? A handful of extra security and a replaying of the attack. The one identifiable figure who was beaten senseless – Chad Gable – sold his injuries so well that he was medically cleared four days later and then went on to win his Money in the Bank qualifier over Braun Strowman and Bronson Reed.
How does any of this make sense?
Your new heel stable wreaks havoc and everyone carries on with just a few extra security officers as they only visible acknowledgement. When Awesome Truth went ballistic back in 2011, the roster walked out in protest. In 2024… nothing.
Gable more or less shaking off his injuries and declaring it a “miracle” that he was fine either has to be revealed to be a ruse, or the Wyatt Sick6’s “massacre” was little more than a typical beatdown with a lot of special effects and makeup.
