4. Professional Grade Triple Threat

Really, if you’re putting Damian Priest, Seth Rollins and Shinsuke Nakamura into a match together, odds are you’re going to get a class performance.

And that’s exactly what we got in Raw’s opening contest, with the three vying for a spot in the semifinals of the World Heavyweight Championship tournament. Rollins, Priest and Nakamura clicked exceptionally well, as their triple threat didn’t have any lulls or rely solely on several one-on-one segments.

Priest sold his injured leg from Backlash, which also then factored into the match itself, with Shinsuke hooking in a kneebar near the conclusion, only for Rollins to fly in with a frog splash and Pedigree for the win.

Quality work from all three men. Nothing approaching a classic, but if you’re having a world title tournament, this isn’t a bad match to kick it off.
