5. A Conflicted Otìsè

When Maxxine Dupri targeted Otis as the next member of Maximum Male Models, there was some potential right away for fun hijinks involving the oversized, lovable goof.

But the biggest problem was figuring out how to pry Otis away from Chad Gable and Alpha Academy. For the past couple months, the two entities have tried to co-exist, to varying degrees of amusement. However, the only way for this to advance is for the issue to be forced.

Cut to Monday night, with Otis battling Mustafa Ali. With Ali on the mat, Otis was thinking about a Caterpillar, and Gable encouraged it, but Maxxine jumped on the apron to talk him out of it. The two argued and tried to sway Otis, and by the time he decided to charge Ali in the corner, it was too late. Otis posted himself and fell victim to a 450 splash, with Ali picking up the win.

This should jumpstart the fracture between Dupri and Gable, forcing Otis to choose. That could lead to some interesting conflict for the big man, and hopefully some entertaining segments ahead.
