Few WWE wrestlers are better at being understatedly entertaining than Kevin Owens. Even when the focus isn’t on him, he manages to reward those paying attention.

Backstage Monday night, Owens and Sami Zayn were talking when they were interrupted by Imperium. Sami tried to get them to wait a few minutes, but they kept insisting on finishing their rant about Gunther coming to Raw next week.

That’s when KO kicked in. Hey kept making side comments about how hard it was to concentrate on their conversation with Ludwig Kaiser and Giovani Vinci standing right there, then was apoplectic about Kaiser having his finger in their faces. It was just a simple, subtle way to express frustration without hogging the spotlight.

Just before their tag match, while Imperium was posing at the hard camera, Owens stood on the apron behind them making faces and looking exasperated by the whole deal, looking at a fake watch and giving a mock thumbs-up to the camera about Kaiser and Vinci’s stance.

Sometimes, it’s the little things that make Raw entertaining and enjoyable, and KO and his antics definitely fit the bill Monday night.
