Typically, you’d say that beating a #1 contender two weeks out from a title match to add someone else to that match is a huge no-no, but when you’re talking a team of former world champions, you tend to give that a pass.

Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins managed to knock off RK-Bro Monday night to join the former tag champs in a future Raw Tag Team Championship match against Alpha Academy. The match itself was pretty good, as you’d expect with these four. Both Randy Orton and Riddle spent time being beat up, and then each got to run amok.

But KO and Rollins were too much, as Seth took out Orton with a Stomp on the floor, and then the heels put Riddle down with a buckle bomb, Stunner and Stomp. Just like that, the tag title match became a triple threat.

Good match, and it’ll be interesting to see how this plays out, especially with the rumored WrestleMania matches floating out there involving some of these guys.
