7 Ups & 5 Downs From WWE Raw (Oct 10)

1. Sami Owns Opening Segment

Sami Zayn has found his groove in a way that wrestlers so rarely do, connecting with the audience at every turn.

Zayn found himself as the center of attention during the Bloodline’s show-opening segment, interrupting Roman Reigns to take responsibility for (and possibly saving) Jey Uso for his disrespect. It’s impossible to do Sami’s promo credit, so let’s just say that he had the crowd eating out of the palm of his hand.

Even an interruption from Matt Riddle and what normally would be a completely insipid and moronic conversation revolving around the word “yeet” proved to be entertaining thanks to Zayn’s antics and how everyone else played off it.

The man has the Midas Touch, and that’s really good news for anyone in his orbit.
