1. Miz Match Makes No Sense

A “sport” where you can whip someone into the ropes and they keep running back and forth in perpetuity requires you to suspend disbelief a bit, but what we got backstage with Miz and D-Generation X after Miz’s birthday celebration was upended was just beyond the pale.

Miz and Maryse sputtered and raved about being tormented by Dexter Lumis, so Road Dogg decided the best solution was to make a match with the stipulation that if Miz wins, Lumis is “gone forever,” and if Dexter wins, he keeps Miz’s birthday gifts… and gets a WWE contract.

So let’s break that down: Lumis doesn’t work for WWE, has been showing up in arenas and backstage attacking contracted talent, stalking Miz, kidnapping him and invading his home, and the solution is to make a match with the condition that if he loses, Lumis – who hasn’t agreed to the match yet – will agree to stay away from WWE and Miz forever.

HOW DOES ANY OF THAT MAKE ANY SENSE?

Spoiler: It doesn’t.
