7 Ups & 5 Downs From WWE Raw (Oct 10)

Ups…

7. All Angle, All The Time

Sami Zayn Jey Uso

On paper, Matt Riddle versus Sami Zayn should have been a tremendous bout that featured high-flying and aerial spots galore. And once the bell rang, we got something completely different.

The match was not about what happened in the ring, but what played out on the apron and on the floor, with Jey Uso’s conflict with Sami continuing to play out and stir up trouble in the Bloodline. Riddle defeating Zayn is the right call for a couple of different reasons, but this allowed him to keep his momentum from Extreme Rule while leaving Zayn presumably to face consequences on Friday.

So put aside your star rating for this one and just enjoy.
