7 Ups & 5 Downs From WWE SmackDown (Oct 14)

1. Look It Up On Twitter?

Sami Zayn and Solo Sikoa dismissing Jey's claim that he helped the former win didn't make sense. Why didn't Uso just bring it up on Twitter to prove his point, or something like that? WWE uploads bite-sized clips on socials all the time during shows, so it was weird to suddenly pretend that doesn't exist.

It's really unlike this company to sleep on the chance to promote their social media accounts.

Sorry, but wrestling promotions just can't get away with this stuff anymore. It's illogical to play before an audience who sits on their phones tweeting during shows, then act like wrestlers can't grab an iPhone to throw up some footage. Jey could've fought back against this injustice easily.

Worse, WWE ran a replay of the finish during SmackDown too. So, long story short, Uso looked like a bigger tool than the band's gold plaque on that wall behind him. It would've been a hoot to see Sami squirm out of a Twitter clip's evidence.
