Let's just forget that whole Max Dupri bullsh*t happened, eh?

LA Knight is the character he should've been all along, and this one match-meets-promo segment proved why. LA got a strong win over former stablemate Mansoor, then told the fans to f*ck off post-win. He's a natural cocky heel, so it's good the writers realise that.

Knight can look back on Maximum Male Models as a bad dream - it was a shaky start to his career on WWE's main roster, but the worst is over with now. Triple H must know he's got a damn solid hand in his midst here, and one who can talk with the best of them on the mic.

That's invaluable, and it should make LA a credit to SmackDown's midcard heel scene. Do not be shocked if he ends up feuding with someone like Madcap Moss, or maybe even Ricochet. Both options would work for Knight, especially if he's given some promo time into the bargain.
