7 Ups & 5 Downs From WWE SmackDown (Oct 14)
6. Roxanne Perez
Credit where it's due; Roxanne Perez stepped up to overcome WWE's one-off booking, and she looked like she belonged in there with a top female star. Yes, these are worrying times for Damage CTRL, but that's not Roxanne's fault. She did herself a favour by shining so brightly opposite Bayley.
That was never a given.
In fact, Perez was more impressive than her better-established partners Raquel Rodriguez and Shotzi. They're just not clicking as a women's tag-team, and WWE needs to put a stop to their forced union before it's too late. Hell, Roxanne's position is probs the spot Raquel should've been in all along.
Reports coming out of SmackDown suggest that Triple H is already high on Perez, and rightly so. She could land on the main roster following NXT's Halloween Havoc. No complaints here, because she turned some heads for the right reasons.
