2. Impromptu, But Immaculate

One day, fans will get a full program and announced-in-advance match between Stephanie Vaquer and Iyo Sky that will go to a clean finish.

Unfortunately, Monday wasn’t that day. However, it still was a spectacular match between the two.

Vaquer and Sky have chemistry on top of chemistry, a telepathy in their wrestling that you rarely get to experience. Their impromptu match on Raw reminded fans of the magic they were creating on the Raw after WrestleMania 41, but like that bout, this one also ended in a disqualification.

Before Chelsea Green and the Secret Hervice interfered, Iyo and Stephanie traded straightjackets as part of some mat grappling that gave way to a suicide dive, a springboard plancha, an Asai moonsault, and a host of other aerial attacks. They flattened each other with German suplexes and pasted each other with knees and strikes.

There’s no way to adequately convey how liquid this wrestling was. Just go seek it out, but be prepared to be frustrated by the DQ finish. One day, they’ll wrestle one fall to a finish, and it will be glorious.
