7 Ups & 6 Downs From AEW Dynamite: Thanksgiving (24 Nov)

2. Made For YouTube

Gunn Club
AEW

Gunn Club vs. Bear Country was a match made for YouTube but delivered on TNT. No more than a straightforward Dark or Elevation squash, it saw the Gunns put Bear Boulder out of action at ringside, using the barricade to do so, while Bear Bronson was left helpless to avoid defeat. Austin grabbed his boot as he hit the ropes, allowing Colten to finish him off with the Colt 45.

This match's existence is puzzling. None of it was over, as neither team is yet to build any kind of rapport with the audience and Gunn Club and there's a general lack of familiarity with all of these wrestlers apart from Billy. The match therefore had no energy or reason for investment.

Darby Allin's incredibly well-timed wipeout on Austin was the highlight here, but does Gunn Club vs. Allin and Sting really need to continue?
