7 Ups & 6 Downs From IMPACT Wrestling (30 March)

5. Third Time Unlucky

Solely looking at this as a match, Fire N Flava’s latest run-in with Havok and Nevaeh was fine. Not quite on the level of their Hard To Kill and No Surrender matches mind you, but still fine.

It almost felt as if this was a new dawn for Havok and Nevaeh. They dominated Kiera Hogan and Tasha Steelz in the early stages of the match, using a handful of double team manoeuvres to keep the Knockouts Tag Team Champions on their toes. Both tandems relied on quick exchanges to keep the match flowing at a decent pace, Kiera and Tasha being the better pairing at this. They knew they could only defeat Havok and Nevaeh by simply being quicker than them, and so they were.

A fisherman’s neckbreaker and frog splash combination put Havok down here. An alright match to kick off the last Tuesday-night episode of IMPACT. You knew what you were getting when this match was announced, and although it wasn’t quite as good as their previous outings, it still worked.
