7 Ups & 6 Downs From WWE Raw (13 Feb - Results & Review)
6. Bronson Reed Rolls
It’s disheartening to see Mustafa Ali treated as a whiny babyface who gets shunted down the card and jobbed out, but it’s clear that’s how WWE views him right now.
Instead, let’s give praise to Bronson Reed, who got to look a bit like a beast Monday night in his match against Ali. Reed tossed the smaller Mustafa around, at one point catching a dive off the apron and slamming Ali into the timekeeper’s area in a brutal spot. He also countered Ali’s attempted rolling neckbreaker with a wicked clothesline, followed by a Tsunami splash for the win.
If they keep booking Reed like this, to run through guys in impressive fashion, he just might catch on. It’s still early, but at least they’re giving him wins like this, which is a good sign. Next, work on his personality a bit on the main show, not the digital exclusives so more fans see that development.
