7 Ups & 6 Downs From WWE Raw (20 Feb - Results & Review)

5. Nikki Cross: Crazy Or Friendless?

Nikki Cross has spent the past few months recultivating her “crazy” persona from her days in Sanity, running around like a frenzied, rapid animal and alternately cackling and frothing.

Cross also has been stalking Candice LeRae for a few weeks, showing up in the background of several backstage segments. This came to a head Monday when LeRae confronted her… and Nikki quietly mumbled something and ran off. Candice revealed that Cross said her friends are all gone and she’s all alone.

The flip from crazed stalker to lonely superstar was quite the abrupt change, and it didn’t really work. We’re to believe that Nikki sitting backstage and laughing maniacally for weeks – including earlier in the same show – is now cowed and timid because she doesn’t have any friends?

Just… no. Sure, we want wrestlers to have stories, but good ones.
