3. Theory’s Run Continues

You can often tell when WWE actually sees something in a wrestler, because the booking suddenly becomes consistent.

That’s the case with Austin Theory, who has won every match since showing up on Raw, beating down Jeff Hardy twice, and then on Monday toppling Dominik Mysterio. Theory set this mini-feud off by wanting a selfie with Rey Mysterio and asked Dominik to take the photo, which prompted the younger Mysterio to bark at him to get out of their dressing room.

The match itself was fine, just a short benign bout that saw Austin with a stungun and an ATL. Afterward, he made sure to grab a selfie with his fallen opponent and then with the referee as he was admonishing Theory.

That kind of stuff will actually stick with fans, and so will the fact that he keeps winning. Let’s see if WWE can keep it going with Theory.
