Hulk Hogan?

WWE kicked off the 30th anniversary of Monday Night Raw with the Hulkster welcoming us to a show he wrestled on exactly seven times, all between 2002-05, when he came back as a borderline nostalgia act.

Yes, it’s true Hogan did appear on Raw during its early days before leaving the WWF in mid-1993, but literally no one would think that Hulk is synonymous with Raw. WWE in its 1980s heyday, absolutely. But by the 90s, Hogan was on his way out, and during a few sporadic bursts in the 2000s, he was more of a guest star than a regular cast member.

Sure, his appearance was inoffensive enough, but of all the legendary stars to have appeared on Raw during its 30-year history, having Hogan welcome everyone to Raw was… odd.
