3. Nothing Says Babyface Like…

Handing off a challenger to another babyface to handle for you.

That’s how Charlotte Fair dealt with Sonya Deville, who interrupted the SmackDown Women’s Champion and Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair. Sonya, who has been feuding with Charlotte on the blue brand, came out to berate both champs and demand her flowers, only for Flair to gesture toward Belair and suggest that the other champ deal with Deville.

Of course, Charlotte wasn’t dressed to compete, but Bianca was.

In the grand scheme of things, this wasn’t a huge deal, but it was such an odd move, having Flair push her off to Belair rather than the EST jumping in and snatching the challenge, which at least would have made more sense.

Maybe this is WWE slowly leaning into the idea of turning Flair heel, but it certainly wasn’t how a babyface champ would normally respond.
