A rapid squash put the breaks on Power and Glory for the good of the Legion Of Doom in Hawk and Animal's only WrestleMania match from their original run, but the Road Warriors couldn't have looked better on the 'Grandest Stage'. And not just because of their rare alternate white tights.

Just months earlier, Hercules and Paul Roma had announced themselves as a doubles division concern with a dominant squash over The Rockers at SummerSlam. Sadly for Slick's squad, the size of the August-to-April stretch can be deceiving.

Here, they were pulverised by the league's real sh*tkickers and - much like how the Hart Foundation were slotted into place the prior year - 'L.O.D's Championship intentions were made crystal clear by the end of a white hot beatdown.
