A disappointing effort from two men only slightly on the downward slide from their career peaks, Mr Perfect and Big Boss Man's Intercontinental Title scrap may have been aided by a clean finish and babyface triumph, but the Cobb County lawman's final Heenan Family hurdle felt a little hollow.
Fans popped big for the arrival of a weathered Andre The Giant as he took a spot in the Challenger's corner to ward off Perfect's accomplices and Bobby Heenan himself, but the match lacked the oomph both had been inserting into their outings for most of the year.
