There were concerns that Tony Khan would flash his knickers at a shiny new ex-WWE toy by giving Athena the TBS Title at All Out. It's not that the former Ember Moon wouldn't be deserving, it's just that well...Jade Cargill is a true homegrown name with star power few on the women's side can match.

That must be protected at all costs.

Jade got to dominate yet again on Sunday night. Some won't have liked the match brevity, and maybe rightly so, but this guy was relieved to see Cargill march on instead of dropping her belt and being shoved to the back of the chasing pack. She's worth more than that, and it seems AEW is fully aware of that.

Seeing Jade go all She-Hulk for the night was a giggle too. She's someone who properly understands the need for pageantry on the bigger events, and the sheer potential she has is borderline crazy. Perhaps All Elite's top brass could be persuaded by a longer match next time, but this was fine for what it was.
