7 Ups & 8 Downs From Impact Wrestling (Dec 3)

4. BAM!

In her in-ring return to Impact Wrestling, ODB squared off with the reigning Knockouts Champion Taya Valkyrie, just a few weeks before 'Wera Loca' is scheduled to defend her title against Jordynne Grace at Hard To Kill. As is typically the case, John E. Bravo accompanied the champ to ringside, but he didn't exactly do too much to help Valkyrie this time around.

Bravo attempted to steal ODB's flask of alcohol during the bout, which, as we all know, is essentially what the urn was to The Undertaker. It keeps ODB going throughout her matches. However, Bravo's mission didn't exactly go off without a hitch as he was instead forced to drink from the flask by the final Knockouts Tag Team Champion. Taya tried her best during the match, only for Jordynne Grace to snatch the Knockouts Championship away from Bravo on the ramp, providing the perfect distraction for ODB to sneak in a rollup victory over the reigning champion.

This marks one of only a few times over the last year when Taya Valkyrie has been pinned to the mat for the count of three. Therefore, that surely shoots ODB's name into the hat to challenge for the Knockouts Championship further down the line. For now though, Jordynne has Taya's number heading into their pay-per-view encounter on 12 January, something that not many people have ever been able to say.
