4. Left Hanging

Despite seemingly forging an alliance with Joey Ryan earlier on in the evening, Johnny Swinger was left on his own as he went to battle with Petey Williams, who Swinger describes as one of the fastest rising stars in Impact today. Oblivious Johnny Swinger is undoubtedly the best Johnny Swinger.

'The Swing Man' took the fight to 'The Maple Leaf Muscle' here, but Petey was simply too much for him, using all of his signature offence including the slingshot Codebreaker and the tilt-a-whirl Russian legsweep. A Sharpshooter would gain the victory for the former X Division Champion as the 'rising sensation' scored an upset victory over Swinger.

We need to ask the question: where was Joey Ryan? He seemed to be happy enough to oblige to Johnny Swinger's plea for a tag team partner, although he may have just agreed to the alliance so that he could be left alone. They need to be a tandem - just imagine the sheer hilarity they could get up to. It's one of those alliances that simply must happen.
