7 Ups & 8 Downs From One Year Of Bray Wyatt’s Fiend In WWE

4. Changing The Miz

There are some that won't agree with including Bray's mini-feud with The Miz as an 'Up', and that's fine. However, it was a nice spin off in preparation for chapter two of Wyatt's rivalry with Daniel Bryan (which, no surprise, is coming up), and it did help facilitate change in a stale babyface.

Miz, bless 'im, just isn't that likeable.

That's not to say he didn't do a fine job opposite Shane McMahon in the build towards WrestleMania 35, but he has always been much more effective as a heel (recent, sophomoric antics with John Morrison aside), and the 'Fiend' reopened that door. Their feud also told the world that Miz's kid has an acting future.

No, Miz vs. Bray at TLC wasn't that great, and yes, some of the home invader skits will never be to everyone's tastes. Look at the core purpose of the offshoot though - it was designed to sell Wyatt's 'Fiend' as a horror who changes people. That's what he did to Miz.
