3. WWE Champs Become Afterthoughts

Drew McIntyre and Bobby Lashley went one-on-one for the WWE Title at last year's WrestleMania. They opened the first night with aplomb, and worked a stiff 18-minute match which set the tone for the rest of the weekend. 12 months later, both are in afterthought bouts against opponents who aren't up to snuff.

Happy Corbin and Omos represent quite the fall from grace for both McIntyre and Lashley; Bobby's booking can maybe be excused to injuries, but Drew's cannot. This feud with Corbin isn't even good enough to prep him for a seemingly-inevitable World Title shot in late-April/May either.

Worse, it has dragged on and on.

Yes, workers need to cycle in and out of the main event scene regularly. WWE's schedule demands that, but surely the writers had something better for Drew and big Bob to do than working two matches that nobody gives a damn about?
