Preceded by a good Frankie Kazarian promo on building companies from the ground up but being constantly overlooked through his career, this was a strong, competitive bout between two old pros who know exactly what they're doing.

Evans and Kazarian worked holds and ran through chains early on. Quick exchanges of falls came after that and while Angelico tried to get involved, he was completely ineffective. Kaz downed him following his first attempt and while Evans worked his way into control on several occasions, he was ultimately put away via reverse DDT, with the SCU man reversing out of the same move for the W.
