7 Ups & 9 Downs From AEW Dark (Oct 20)

8. Matt Sydal vs. Shawn Dean

Shawn Dean is one of Dark's better enhancement talents, but this was one of the web series' standard pseudo squashes in which the established wrestler ceded control on several occasions, before eventually coming back into it and taking the win. Sydal did so via modified Cobra Clutch.

While the duo worked at a decent pace and wasted no time, repetition and card placement hurt this. It went down 15 matches into a 16-match show.
