While it still feels like the underdeveloped Heavy Machinery have been hot-shotted into a championship programme that they probably aren't ready for, pairing them with a guy like Daniel Bryan makes all the sense in the world.

Bryan is the best wrestler in the company. WWE are marginalising him by placing him in the tag division, but he's a certified wrestling genius with a long history of getting the best out of his opponents. His years of knowledge and experience will benefit Heavy Machinery greatly, and while the matches might not knock it out of the park, the duo should emerge a better tag team for tangling with the former 'Planet's Champion.'

Last night saw Bryan and Rowan attempt to take the cardboard belts of "Yolo County Tag Team Champions" Jimmy Ping and Tony Bone. Tucker and his pet Furby, Otis, marched out, claiming that if they were given a shot, they'd take the straps. This led to a perfectly fine squash as Heavy Machinery overcame the two goobers, nailing the signature spots in the process.

This will mean nothing if the tag division misses another couple of weeks afterwards, but it was an effective piece of early building.
