7 Ups & 9 Downs From Last Night's WWE SmackDown (Jun 11)

4. 24/7 Silliness

R-Truth wasn't all over this week's episode of SmackDown to the same extent as recent shows, but WWE still found time to cram some 24/7 Championship antics into these two hours, with Truth found trying to eave the building earlier on.

He was in typically wacky form as he spoke about regaining the belt at "47,000 feet celsius," even though the "7/11 Championship" was ruining his life, before sh*tting himself when he heard a noise around the corner. Truth hopped into a flight case. Jinder Mahal showed up and Truth started panicking, giving up the ghost as he screamed he couldn't breathe, before 'The Modern Day Maharaja' ran off to get a crowbar.

Jinder returned with a referee later on, but found the crate had been loaded into a truck. A backstage staffer told him that Truth and his box were already on their way to Raw in Los Angeles, and that was that: banter over.

If you had the 24/7 nonsense, this will have done nothing to change your mind. Regardless, these fun, light-hearted breaks from the rest of the card are appreciated in this column. Let's hope they never start sucking.
