7 Ups & 9 Downs From WWE Raw (Nov 8)

4. Time To Old Yeller The 24/7 Title

This might be a repetitive item in the column, but if WWE is going to keep trotting Reggie and the 24/7 geeks out there, then we’re gonna keep blasting it.

Reggie actually “wrestled” a match for the 24/7 Championship against Drake Maverick, but that quickly broke down as the entire 24/7 mob ran down to ringside. Reggie got distracted and rolled up, as Drake finally achieved his dream of winning the title. But that victory would be short-lived, as Akira Tozawa rolled him up, then Corey Graves(!) rolled him up, and Byron Saxton(!!) rolled him up, and then Maverick rolled him up to regain the title.

Then poor Drake ran into the ring, where Reggie hit a spinning crossbody for the pin to get his title back, and then he fled.

It was two minutes of “entertainment” that produced exactly one fun moment: Saxton and Graves tangling, with ultra-goober Byron getting one over on Corey. Other than that, nuke the damn title.
