7. Ups - The Mighty Don't 61

The first segment of NXT saw the long-awaited debut of former Pro Wrestling NOAH GHC Tag Team Champions The Mighty Don't Kneel. Though their names had been changed (Shane Haste became Shane Thorne, Mikey Nicholls became Nick Miller, and the team's name was turned to the indecipherable TM-61), the talent was still there, and they got to show off against Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa.

Both Thorne and Miller looked great. Thorne was more acrobatic, using moves that were sure to make an impression in his debut, but Miller was just as solid. Meanwhile, Gargano and Ciampa brought all of their high-workrate indy sensibilities to this match, making it a winner.

TM-61 nearly scored the win off of the Tank Killer (Miller holds his opponent up for a Big Ending, while Thorne grabs his head and hits a DDT) on Ciampa, but Gargano managed to make the save. Shortly after that, Gargano and Ciampa hit Thorne with a running knee/superkick combination for the win.

NXT's tag team division has suffered a hit lately with the losses of The Vaudevillains, Enzo and Big Cass, and Blake and Murphy, but the arrival of TM-61 is a step in the right direction.
