6. Joe Is Gonna Beat You
The main event of the next TakeOver special will feature Samoa Joe defending his NXT Championship against Finn Balor in the brand's first-ever cage match. Their feud has been one of the longing-running in NXT history, and the cage match is one of the brand's most-anticipated bouts ever.
NXT did a great job of building up just how important this match is with a clip package focusing on Samoa Joe. Though it was largely made up of clips showing just how dominant Joe has been (including his non-televised title victory in Lowell, Massachusetts, and his around-the-arena brawl with Balor prior to TakeOver: Dallas), there were also a few new clips, cut-screens of Joe delivering a message to his opponent.
In the interview clips, Joe promised that he would continue to reign as NXT Champion and that he would end Finn Balor. It's hard to doubt him - his title win was, in many ways, long overdue, and it would be a shame to switch the belt back so quickly. Furthermore, Balor looks to be getting closer and closer to his WWE main roster debut, so this time, it looks like the bad guy is right: Joe will destroy Balor and kick him out of NXT.
