7 Ups And 10 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Dec 28)

1. Poor Wrestling

This can€™t be how WWE wanted to close out 2015, with just a subpar effort up and down the card. Out of seven matches, three ended with rollups, one ended in a countout and another had a DQ finish. One of the remaining two matches featured fans chanting, €œThis is boring€ and doing the wave. Only the United States Championship match really seemed to gel, and even that took a little bit to get going. Even when the writing has been really bad and fans have been frustrated by poor booking/writing, there almost always has been good wrestling to counterbalance things. You could routinely count on Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens, Neville, John Cena, Dolph Ziggler or someone to put on a good show in the ring. Occasionally, fans have gotten PPV-quality matches on free TV. That has been the saving grace to some of the poor episodes of Raw we have endured. But Monday€™s episode left a ton to be desired. Maybe everyone had too much eggnog over the holiday weekend. But let€™s hope this isn€™t a harbinger of what€™s to come in 2016.
