7 Ups And 10 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Dec 7)
8. Accuracy Matters
Did anyone else feel like Sheamus was lost out there during his opening promo? He looked almost nervous and whiffed on a couple points during his remarks. First, the Celtic Warrior pointed to his Sheamus 5:15 shirt and remarked that it only took him 5:15 to beat Roman Reigns for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Thats not only wrong, it makes Sheamus look worse than the truth does. Reigns was champ for 5:15 from the end of his title match against Dean Ambrose to the end of the 34-second match in which he lost the title to Sheamus. Second, Sheamus said his victory and Romans brief reign had to be some kind of world record for a title victory. Whether hes talking about his win or Reigns time holding the title, both are wrong. Most Money in the Bank briefcase cash-in has been quicker than that. Randy Orton beat Daniel Bryan at SummerSlam 2013 in 8 seconds. Bryan beat Big Show at TLC 2011 in 7 seconds. Hell, Sheamus beat Bryan at WrestleMania XXVII in 18 seconds! Again, its not some great sin against the wrestling gods, but it didnt help that Sheamus sounded off out there and then muffed those points.
